It is designed to ensure a safe, fair, and productive environment for all users, including fleet owners, rental operators, and administrators. By accessing or using Rentex, you agree to comply with this policy in its entirety. This policy supplements our Terms of Service and applies to all users operating within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and any other jurisdiction where Rentex services are available.

Rentex is intended for legitimate car rental business activities. You may use the platform for the following purposes:

• Managing your vehicle fleet, including adding, editing, and tracking vehicle information
• Processing rental bookings, contracts, and customer records
• Generating reports and analytics related to your rental business operations
• Managing payments, invoices, and financial records for your rental transactions
• Communicating with customers through the platform's built-in messaging features

The following activities are strictly prohibited on the Rentex platform. Engaging in any of these activities may result in immediate account suspension or termination:

• Unauthorized access: Attempting to access accounts, systems, or data that you are not authorized to use
• Data scraping: Using automated tools, bots, or scripts to extract data from the platform without written permission
• Malware distribution: Uploading, transmitting, or distributing viruses, malware, or any harmful code through the platform
• Spam and unsolicited communications: Sending bulk messages, advertisements, or unsolicited content to other users
• Harassment and abuse: Engaging in threatening, abusive, or discriminatory behavior toward other users or Rentex staff
• Fraudulent activity: Providing false information, creating fake listings, or engaging in any form of deception
• Intellectual property infringement: Using copyrighted material, trademarks, or proprietary content without authorization

Users who manage vehicle fleets on Rentex must adhere to the following rules to maintain platform integrity and customer trust:

• Vehicle listing accuracy: All vehicle information, including make, model, year, mileage, and condition, must be accurate and up to date
• Fair pricing: Rental prices must be transparent and free from hidden fees. All charges must be clearly disclosed before booking confirmation
• Vehicle maintenance: Listed vehicles must be properly maintained, insured, and compliant with Saudi traffic regulations
• Documentation: Valid vehicle registration, insurance certificates, and inspection records must be maintained for all listed vehicles

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Rentex account. The following security requirements must be observed:

• Passwords must be at least 8 characters long and include a combination of letters, numbers, and special characters
• Account credentials must not be shared with unauthorized individuals. Each user must have their own account.
• You must enable two-factor authentication if it is available for your account type
• Any suspected unauthorized access must be reported to Rentex immediately
• You must log out of shared or public devices after each session

If you access the Rentex platform through our API, you must comply with the following usage guidelines:

• Rate limits: API requests are subject to rate limits as defined in your subscription plan. Exceeding these limits may result in temporary access restrictions.
• Fair use: API resources must be used responsibly and not in a manner that degrades performance for other users
• Authentication: API keys and tokens must be kept confidential and must not be embedded in client-side code or publicly accessible repositories
• Data handling: Data retrieved through the API must be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws
• Prohibited uses: The API must not be used for competitive data gathering, benchmarking against Rentex, or building competing products

All user-generated content on the Rentex platform, including vehicle descriptions, profile information, and communications, must comply with the following standards:

• Content must be truthful, accurate, and not misleading
• Content must not contain offensive, discriminatory, or inappropriate language
• Images and media must be relevant to the vehicle or service being offered and must not infringe on third-party rights
• Content must comply with Saudi Arabian laws and regulations, including advertising standards
• Rentex reserves the right to remove any content that violates these standards without prior notice

If you become aware of any violation of this Acceptable Use Policy, we encourage you to report it promptly. You can report violations through the following channels:

• Use the in-platform reporting feature available on user profiles and vehicle listings
• Contact our support team through the Contact page on our website
• Send a detailed report via email describing the violation and any supporting evidence

All reports are reviewed by our team and handled confidentially. We will not disclose the identity of the reporter to the reported party without consent, except as required by law.

Rentex takes violations of this policy seriously. Depending on the severity and nature of the violation, we may take the following actions:

• Warning: A formal written notice describing the violation and required corrective action
• Temporary suspension: Restricted access to the platform for a specified period while the matter is investigated
• Permanent termination: Complete removal of your account and all associated data in cases of severe or repeated violations
• Legal action: Referral to appropriate legal authorities if the violation involves illegal activity under Saudi Arabian law

Rentex reserves the right to determine the appropriate enforcement action at its sole discretion. Users will be notified of any enforcement action taken against their account and will have the opportunity to appeal the decision.

Rentex reserves the right to update this Acceptable Use Policy at any time. When significant changes are made, we will notify users through in-platform notifications, email communications, or a prominent banner on the website. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy. We recommend reviewing this policy periodically to stay informed of any updates.
